I went for job interview yesterday. Actually I was wondering should I go or not, but somehow I did attend that. I think I was very frustrated and mentally unstable when I applied that job. The post is Product Engineer for RND group. That company is doing SSD, which is Solid State Drive which an advanced version of HDD. It's a new field to me, but it'll be fun to learn new thing.
The interview went well and I manage to answer most of the question confidently. However most of the question touch on the statistical stuff and communication skill. I expect that they will ask me a lot of technical stuff, which I thnik I might be in trouble, but they are not. The job scope is similar like what I've been done before but nothing on RND stuff. It is more on middle man between RND and NPI, manufacturing group. Thats not cool... Besides that, that company location is quite far from my place and the traffic is quite bad overthere. My current job way better than what they can offer... AM I BLIND??? AM I STUPID??? I questioned myself. But on the positive sight, I took it as an interview pratice. This is my 2nd interview after 5 years working. I'm good ;). Besides that I wont feel regret that I did not attend the interview if in the future I feel demotivated with my current company.
Yesterday I went to my supplier site in Prai. Going through the production lines reminds me of those time when I worked with Flextronics Melaka. I used to spend most of my time, debugging boards, checked on the testing at the production lines. Those are hard times for me. I went to their staff office. It's teribble!! The office is actually a cointainer truck and all the managers and engineers are cramped inside. They have a good business with my company and I'm sure they can afford to have better office accomodation. Their toilet, surau and canteen are in scarce condition as well. It's almost similar last time. I should be grateful and how lucky I am...

Activity on Sunday Morning 100718
Preparing breakfast while hubby cleaned up Little Luffy. Yesterday I had noodle soup for breakast and today I decided to have western style breakfast. I still have left M'cdonald GCB from yesterday. 
Luffy likes to play with my pencil case. See his work here, where at the end mama need to clear this mess. 
Normally on weekend, my laundry will be piling up. Here it's waiting for me to clear up. There's another trip in the washing machine waiting for me... sigh
I have to arrange the couch cushion this way. Luffy likes to walk on the couch top, and this is how to prevent him. 
This is another big task, to handle this "seeking atttention" toddler. I do not know what he want. He was in good mood and suddenly he cried like this.

Internet Friend Scam!!!
This thing just happened a few days ago. My uncle informed me that he is coming to Penang with his lady friend. Who is this friend? Does his wife knows about this? Well, apparently he knows this lady accidently through internet chatting. This lady aged 27 years old and stayed in Manchester, UK. His father just passed away and left her a lump sum of money. She decided to invest the money by buying a property in Penang. My uncled forwarded me some of her photos and she's really a beautiful girl.
According to my uncle, she is still single... I dont believe it. Well, I did smell something is not right, but I did mentioned to my uncle just be careful.
According to plan, this lady supposed to depart from Manchester on Wednesday and reach KL on Thursday. Then my uncle supposed to pick her up at KLIA. She will stay at my uncle place for a night and come to Penang on Friday to settle the house buying stuff. So she will stay at my place and I will help her while she's in Penang. My uncle is not good in Penang as well. I'm OK with it, just that I do not know how long she'll stay and I do not know her plan. This is going to be a long weekend since Monday is the replacemnet holiday for Penang Governer's Day. I did planned to go back to my hometown, but this has to be postphoned then.
Back to the story, my uncle went to KLIA to pick her up. Butttttttttt, she didn't turn up. I call my uncle asking for her flight details, but she did not provide it to my uncle. So I checked on the internet of the flight schedule from any airlines from UK to Malaysia. Only one flight available which already touched down early in the morning. The next flight would be in the evening. It was during noon, and my uncle has been waiting for few hours. So he decided to went back home. I said to my uncle, if this lady really come ask her to fly direct to Penang and I will pick her up in Penang. However she did call or send any message to my uncle. This is something more fishy to me...
I did google search on the internet scam and I found this.

Anyhow, I send message to my uncle not to helo her if anything to do with money. The next day, my uncle called. It's the same like what happened in the above linked. The lady called my uncle saying that she was detained by immigration because she didn't declare her money. Apparently she brings along cash worth RM500k. She will need to pay RM5K to bail out. She call my uncle to help her out. Even the immigration officer called my uncle to confirm this.
Luckily my uncle is not stupid. He said he doesn't has that much money, instead he ask her to call her friend in Manchester to bank-in that much money to help her out. My uncle did get the immigration officer name. My uncle called KLIA immigration ofice looking for the person with that name. He just want to confirm is the detained is real or fake. The person with that name is really exist, but according to that officer there is no such thing happened. They did not detained any people today :).
Scam!!! My uncle just get conned. Pity him because he had to travel to KLIA waiting for this stupid sucker. But on the good side, he did realize this before he loose any money to this lady.
So for those outside there, beware of this scam. Sometime our intention is good, but people taking advantadge over it.!!

Sunday at Youth Park, Penang
Last weekend I managed to take Luffy to Youth Park. This is a 2nd time visit for Luffy to Youth Park after his first visit when he was 7 weeks old (which was during my confinement holiday). This park was formerly known as Youth Park/ Taman Belia and I do not know when goverment upgrade it and has the name change to Taman Perbandaran. I used to be regular visitor here before I got married,( besides Botanical Park) for work out purposes. I love those days when I have plenty time of my own. Is not that I hate my life now, I prefer my life now, just that I want extra time for me to do extracuricular activites.. Hehehe.
Me and hubby took Luffy to the playground area. That place was quite crowded with kids, parents and their relatives. I just loves the environment there, its so greenish, tranquil and lots of laughter and happiness. I just wished my family member were there enjoying time like this. Luffy played the swing, see-saw and the slide. He likes to play the slide more I guess :). After that we took him to the most irresitable place for kid which is the water park. Luffy was a bit scared at first. He hold me tight when I put him into the water, and after a while he gain more confident and bravery. He doesn't want to play in the pool for his age. He went to pool where a little bit deeper. Most of the kids there is older than him like age 4 and above. The kids were quite wild there and I have to monitor Luffy. I was just afraid other kid might pushed him or he fell off in the pool. As usual he doesnt want to get out from the pool at first, until he fell off. Urgh!! this was my husband fault...

I was doing house-cleaning during last weekend. I found unopened 'angpow' envelopes in the drawer. Fuh!, Luffy is rich, can you treat mama for fancy dinner?? Hehe

My current workload.
I have been busy this few weeks on this stuff. I was working with electronic design and now I am responsible for printed circuit board layout. Last weekend was terrible because I spent Saturday and Sunday at home doing this stuff. I feel quite sad, I was actually at home with my kid but as if I were not there. I scold my kid because he disturbed me and he cried, making the noise which I can't stand.. But when I calmed down and think, he was actually looking for an attention from me. I was busy the whole weekdays and he wants me to spend time with him...Urgh..i'm a bad mother.
I have completed this new task and I hope, I will have some quality time with Luffy this weekend. Hubby is having some urgent task to settle tomorrow, therefore only me and Luffy will be around. Be a good mother Ok, says me to myself...
