28 march was my hubby birthday. As usual every year on birthday we would have small event to celebrate the birthday. This year was better cause it fall on saturday. I was targetting to get him an Xbox 360 for his birthday gift but I couldnt find it at any shop. I blame the gst which going to implement in a few days to come. My guess is the retailer hide those so that they can benefit of the price go up. I havent got him anything yet, I think I will give him as post belated birthday gift.
So what happened yesterday was tight schedule for me and family. My husband sent his car for repair in the morning while i took care the 2 kids. We went for a wedding in the afternoon. I was hesitated to go for the wedding, because I do not know the family so well. Luffy insisted to go and I got no solid excuse to decline. It was the Luffy babysitter relative and Luffy was closed with them. So after the wedding we went for the monthly shopping. It should be done before the gst.
After that we went home and prepare for a night out. I booked a dinner buffet for the family and bought a movie ticket online so that we can watch after dinner. It was so rushing cause I reach home at 5 pm. Cleaned up and prepare the 2 boys. Feed the small one, make the reservation for the buffet and movie.
We went for dinner buffet at Jen Hotel, previously known as traders hotel. The have seafood and meat theme for saturday night buffet. The price is rm77++ for adult. The food taste ok, but the choices are limited. Not much variaty compared to the one we had at Legoland hotel last week. I was a bit regret about my selection on this hotel. And that night was an earth hour thing going from 8pm to 9pm. So the light had to be turned dim. If only me and hubby, it will be a romantic time. But with the 7 and 1 year old kid, it is not. We left the hotel about 9.00pm to go for the movie. I bought online ticket movie for 9.45pm show. Too my suprised the ticket that I bought actually for 12.20 am show. Oh my... I feel like crying.. I just realised this when I claimed the real ticket at the counter. The salesguy informed me, "its a 12.20am show ya..." huh????
Its about 3 hours wait..my husband came out a brilliant suggestion. Go for karaoke. Just next to the cinema there is redbox. Its a bit expensive, but what the heck its his birthday.. 3 hours seems not enough of singing. The good thing was that my husband was not charged for the karaoke because it was on his birthday. So they only charge one person, me. Kids was free of charge. Eirian was fall asleep in the karaoke room. Too tired i guess. Luffy enjoyed so much simging and dancing.
After singing we went for the movie. We watched Cinderella. My prediction, there will be a twist if storyline for this Cinderella 2015. No no... the storyline is the same. Luffy doze off right after the frozen fever show and Eirian wake up during the show. Luckily, he didnt make noise in the cinema. I bought 2 couple seat for our comfort during the show.
